About The Position

The Post-Anesthesia-Care Registered Nurse manages individualized, goal-directed nursing care through the use of the nursing process and the principles of primary nursing. This is done in accordance with departmental and hospital policies and procedures. The role includes charge nurse responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Demonstrated proficiency in acute care nursing, knowledge, and skills.
• Current Registered Nurse license from the Territory of Guam.
• Current Healthcare Provider BLS Certification.
• Current Healthcare Provider ACLS certification (must be obtained within six months of employment).

Responsibilities

• Manage individualized, goal-directed nursing care.
• Utilize the nursing process and principles of primary nursing.
• Adhere to departmental and hospital policies and procedures.
• Perform charge nurse responsibilities as assigned.
