Supply Chain Specialist Introduction The Adyen In Person Payments solution is driven by a combination of our physical payment devices in store and our core processing platform. The Warehousing & Logistics teams have team members in Amsterdam, Singapore, Sydney, New York and Sao Paolo and are responsible for managing our third-party warehouse and logistics operations. This includes the warehouse's receiving, handling, storing, production, picking, and packing activities, ensuring quality & PCI compliance standards are met at every step. The Inbound Specialist is responsible for the region's inbound operations, currently focused on our warehouse partners in the Americas region.

Requirements

  • Experience: 2-4 years of experience in Operations, Warehouse and/or Supply Chain management.
  • Hands-on: You are motivated to engage in existing processes and manage (external) stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
  • Pragmatic: You will have strong problem-solving capabilities to take concrete action plans and execute them while dealing with daily operational tasks.
  • Communicative: You align and collaborate with colleagues from different departments and external relations, such as suppliers and (warehouse) partners.
  • Analytical: You fundamentally understand modeling concepts (excel) for production planning and capacity management.
  • Global-mindset: With your peers across the globe (New York, Sao Paulo, Amsterdam, Sydney, Singapore), you are able to navigate cultural differences and collaborate with people based in various timezones.
  • Tech savvy: Enthusiastic about modern technology and its adoption in daily operations to bring Supply Chain Management to the next level

Responsibilities

  • Inbound Operations: Coordinate with Adyen and 3PL teams to ensure timely, accurate delivery of purchase orders and conduct quality checks on inbound. Address discrepancies and drive process improvements.
  • Staging Operations: Oversee the staging process to ensure stock availability, quality control, and adherence to outbound plans.
  • Inventory Management: Track and manage stock movements within the warehouses, ensuring accurate action, reconciliation and reporting. Collaborate with teams to prepare for new product launches and inbound requirements.
  • Returns & Repairs: Manage the efficient processing of returns and repairs, ensuring compliance with agreements with merchants and repair centers.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously identify and implement operational enhancements to increase efficiency and accuracy across all processes
