We are seeking a Payments and POS Technical Sales Engineer to serve as a strategic solutions architect for our enterprise partners, including software developers, unified commerce platforms, banks, acquirers, and payment processors. This role is responsible for gathering partner requirements, translating them into executable business models, and developing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) that align with ScanSource's operational, IT, and financial capabilities. The Technical Sales Engineer works cross-functionally with Operations, IT, Finance, and Account Management to ensure every partnership is structured for scalability, profitability, and long-term success. From presales discovery to partner onboarding and ramp-to-volume, this role plays a critical part in ensuring new partnerships launch smoothly and deliver measurable outcomes.
