About The Position

Your chance to join Team CACI as an European Portuguese Language Instructor on our Prime contract supporting government operations in Fairfax, VA! This position is not remote. You would be 100% on-site in our Fairfax or Reston, VA offices. This role will enable you to utilize both your linguistic and teaching skills for a mission-driven role. You will provide in-person instruction for advanced adult students (Level 2-3 certified) in European Portuguese and may be required to summarize/gist, translate, triage, quality control and/or edit language materials into correct grammatical American English. This position is contingent on funding and may not be filled immediately. However, this position is representative of positions within CACI that are consistently available. Requirements

Active TS/SCI Clearance with adjudicated Polygraph
Bachelor’s Degree
Ability to pass an advanced English test
Ability to score Level 5 on Speaking, Listening, and Reading target language tests
Minimum five (5) years’ professional experience in language teaching/instruction
In-depth knowledge of the geopolitical, regional, ethnic, and cultural components of target language geographical areas
Master use of MS Office and internet research

Nice To Haves

Has good understanding of one or more regional dialects
Consecutive and/or simultaneous interpretation abilities
