Requirements
- Fluency in Portuguese Brazilian and English (required)
- Prior interpretation experience — formal or informal (required)
- Reliable transportation for in-person assignments across El Paso
Nice To Haves
- Associate's degree or equivalent real-world experience (preferred)
- Background in insurance, legal, or government settings a strong plus
Responsibilities
- Provide accurate in-person interpretation for Texas Department of Insurance assignments in the El Paso, TX area
- Assist policyholders and claimants with limited English proficiency in insurance-related proceedings, hearings, and appointments
