About The Position

The Portrait Photographer at Picture People is a seasonal, part-time role focused on delivering exceptional customer experiences through photography. The position involves capturing portraits of various clients, including families and children, while ensuring a welcoming and professional studio environment. The role also includes responsibilities related to sales, customer service, and maintaining studio standards.

Requirements

• Availability and willingness to work a flexible schedule.
• Photography experience preferred but a willingness to learn is required.
• Experience in the service industry preferred (i.e., retail, tourism, hospitality, restaurant).
• Great communication and organizational skills.
• Proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service.
• Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work alone and as part of a team to meet goals.
• High energy and enthusiasm.
• Works well with children and adults.
• Must be at least 18 years of age to apply.

Nice To Haves

• Professional photography experience is a plus.
• Experience in sales is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Providing an amazing customer experience from booking to delivery of portrait products.
• Photographing customers including infants, kids, families, and couples.
• Editing, printing, and framing digital images.
• Driving sales to meet studio goals.
• Ensuring data integrity of customer information and orders.
• Assisting with opening and closing procedures.
• Scheduling and confirming customer sessions.
• Maintaining a safe and clean environment for customers and employees.
• Ensuring the studio exemplifies brand standards in presentation.
• Performing additional responsibilities as needed.
