About The Position
The Bartender at del Lago Resort Casino is responsible for providing exceptional service that embodies graciousness, kindness, and warmth, creating an exciting environment for guests. This role requires delivering world-class service through Old-World hospitality and charm, ensuring that all guests feel welcomed and valued. The Bartender will maintain high cleanliness standards in accordance with food service sanitation codes while serving both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. Extensive knowledge of the menu is essential, as is the ability to take guest orders, anticipate their needs, deliver orders promptly, and process payments efficiently. The position emphasizes consistency, quality, and a sense of urgency in service delivery. General accountabilities include punctuality to pre-shift meetings, active participation with a positive attitude, and adherence to departmental standards and guidelines. The Bartender must provide high-quality food and beverage service, utilizing upselling techniques and adhering to standardized recipes. Safeguarding company assets and maintaining accountability for funds during assigned shifts is crucial. Teamwork is encouraged, with Bartenders expected to assist co-workers and balance all money transactions accurately. The role also involves vigilance against fraud and maintaining a clean and organized work area, including immediate cleaning of spills and responsible use of chemicals.
