About The Position

Join our dynamic team as a Technical Project Manager / Deputy Program Manager and play a pivotal role in a critical U.S. Army mission. This unique opportunity allows you to directly influence the development and delivery of capabilities that will enhance military operations. You will work closely with the Chief Engineer and Project Manager to oversee and manage the technical aspects of projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and in alignment with technical requirements. More about this role: The successful candidate will be provided the opportunity to work directly with our U.S. Army customer to help establish roadmaps, innovation, and solutions for complex challenges to ensure systems maintains relevancy and stay ahead of evolving threats. The Portfolio Lead will also dual-hat as the Deputy PM of the overall Task Order and be provided opportunities to work directly with the PM and PMO to formulate and execute business strategies, including annual financial plans, risks and opportunities, and new / organic business development.

Requirements

  • 14 total years experience supporting DoD missions, National intelligence capabilities, and operations at the national and tactical levels
  • 4 years experience planning, directing, coordinating, and managing hardware and/or software projects across integrated teams of engineers, analysts, and project management personnel
  • 10 years of project management experience involving managing customer requirements, relationships, technical leadership, and risks
  • BS degree in a national security-related field
  • Top Secret Clearance

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification or equivalent

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Chief Engineer and Project Manager to manage the technical facets of projects, ensuring they meet quality standards and technical requirements.
  • Act as a vital link between development, operations, product support teams, and project management, including our government customer.
  • Facilitate cross-functional communication to develop and design project plans, and address technical issues, blockers, and impediments.
  • Monitor schedule performance using agile best practices throughout the software release lifecycle.
