About The Position

The Portfolio Sales Professional at Siemens is responsible for supporting the sales of Fire Alarm Systems and Components, focusing on growth within underachieving accounts and establishing new customer relationships. This role involves collaborating with Territory Managers, providing technical support, and managing the entire sales cycle from pricing to customer satisfaction. The position is remote, allowing for flexibility while engaging with a diverse customer base.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma required.
  • 4+ years of Fire Alarm Industry Experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively work with a wide range of customers, both internal and external.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Proven experience in a remote working environment.

Responsibilities

  • Support the territory outside sales effort to grow underachieving/stagnant accounts.
  • Proactively call on and establish new relationships to lead customers through the buying process.
  • Provide estimating assistance and training.
  • Support Order Entry and Handover processes.
  • Follow a daily cadence of prospecting and developing new opportunities with the existing customer base.
  • Collaborate with Territory Managers to increase sales from lower tier Partners.
  • Provide additional support to customers including product and technical support, pricing, and customer care.
  • Manage the entire sales cycle including pricing for smaller customers through to shipment and invoice.
  • Work with Marketing to develop sales programs and promotions.
