About The Position

The Oncology Sales Consultant - Portfolio at Bayer is responsible for driving clinical demand, education, and sales of the Bayer Oncology Portfolio, which includes products like NUBEQA, STIVARGA, VITRAKVI, and XOFIGO. This role focuses on engaging healthcare professionals in community clinics, treatment centers, and hospitals within the Allentown, PA territory. The consultant will work as part of the Area Customer Squad to commercialize all Bayer Oncology products and support customers effectively.

Requirements

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree.
  • Significant experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical sales.
  • Experience selling to large academic institutions and hospitals in the territory.
  • Specialty sales experience in pediatric and adult oncology.
  • Relevant experience in Oncology or Precision Medicine.
  • Proven selling skills with the ability to influence prescribers.
  • Track record of consistent sales success.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong teamwork and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
  • Negotiation and analytical skills to derive actionable insights from data.
  • Self-motivated and passionate about the role.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean record.
  • Willingness to travel, including occasional overnight trips.
  • Compliance with customer credentialing and safety standards.

Nice To Haves

  • Degree in biological science or related field.
  • At least 5 years of pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical sales experience.
  • Strong clinical knowledge of various solid or liquid tumor types.
  • Experience selling products with companion diagnostics.
  • Familiarity with diagnostics or genomic testing.
  • Understanding of buy-and-bill and oral oncology landscapes.
