About The Position

The successful Portfolio Sales & Business Development Specialist - North America will apply their passion and understanding for the Maritime and offshore industry to engage plan, conduct and manage customer engagements to identify solution needs and offerings. The TSAM will identify, develop, drive, report, present and win profitable business opportunities, by collaborating externally and internally with supporting experts, functions and stakeholders!

Requirements

  • Technical understanding of industrial electrical systems required; Additional Product specific knowledge and automation systems is also preferred
  • 5+ years in an Industrial services market Sales with understanding of Electrification, Automation and Digitalization, solutions, and services is required; Candidates with more experience may be eligible for a more senior level position
  • A high school diploma/GED that can be verified is required; A bachelor's degree in electrical and or controls related engineering field is preferred
  • Proven track record in technical and commercial sales in North America; Deep understanding of and existing network in the Oil & Gas, Chemical and Process Industries
  • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, capable of working in multi-functional teams and dealing with all levels of management; Strategic and tactical vision, capable of inspiring change with ambitious and high-performing objectives
  • Willingness to travel regionally up to 40% of the time

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to growing revenue and improving customer experiences in North America for within Oil&Gas, Chemical and Process Industries market sub segments
  • Build, manage, and expand demand and business growth from current and new customers across various accounts and/or a geographical area
  • Define and manage demand for EAD Brownfield/Aftermarket Projects & Service Life Cycle Solutions and present and follow up and win contracts
  • Apply CRM tools to keep close track of accounts, opportunities, and activities, ensuring seamless operations, transparency and forecasting
  • Help customers identify relevant EAD portfolio offerings that can improve customers' operational efficiency, helping them achieve their goals
  • Demonstrate self-motivation by setting clear targets and goals, always striving for excellence and not being satisfied with the status quo
