About The Position
MBG Property Management is a family-owned property management firm based in the Twin Cities, dedicated to providing quality, clean, and affordable living options for apartment and townhome renters. The Portfolio Manager position is crucial for overseeing the performance and function of staff and properties under your direction. This role is based in Owatonna, MN, and will involve managing properties located in Owatonna, Northfield, Faribault, Cannon Falls, Mankato, Marshall, and Granite Falls, MN. As a Portfolio Manager, you will be responsible for maximizing income while minimizing expenses, providing guidance and support to onsite staff, and ensuring that all properties meet company standards and regulatory requirements. In this role, you will prepare and maintain company-wide policies and forms, coordinate budgets for all properties, and ensure adherence to these budgets. Continuous support and training for staff will be a key part of your responsibilities, as well as monitoring staff performance and providing necessary corrections when required. You will also conduct physical inspections of properties and approve all evictions and non-renewals, ensuring that the properties are well-managed and compliant with regulations. Your leadership, organizational, and communication skills will be essential in fostering a productive work environment and achieving the company's goals.
