About The Position

This onsite Portfolio Operations role is in Richardson, Texas and will support the Integrated Platforms engineering portfolio in driving operational excellence by transforming engineering data into clear, actionable insights. This position focuses on data analytics, dashboard visualization, and business operations support to connect engineering metrics with program outcomes. Acting as the bridge between engineering, operations, and leadership, portfolio operations ensures performance trends are visible, decisions are data-driven, and teams have the right tools and processes to execute effectively.

Requirements

  • Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 12 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 10 years of experience
  • Proficiency with Excel and Power BI for data analysis, reporting, and dashboard visualization.
  • Organized and detail-oriented; able to manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong communicator and collaborator across functions.
  • Comfortable working on both structured projects and ad-hoc urgent tasks.
  • Solid working knowledge of Microsoft O365 tools with the ability to leverage collaboration features for information sharing, communication, and workflow efficiency
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and manage Excel models and Power BI dashboards to track and visualize program performance, staffing, and other critical business metrics.
  • Coordinate and consolidate data requests across multiple functions, enabling “one-time collection, multi-use” efficiency and reducing redundancy.
  • Develop, maintain, and update organizational charts, distribution lists, and process templates to streamline team operations and communication.
  • Oversee and improve onboarding effectiveness, including setup, role integration, and new hire check-ins.
  • Establish and organize centralized data repositories to enhance accessibility, knowledge management, and data-driven decision-making.
  • Maintain and continuously update the Portfolio’s portion of the Strategic Defense Solutions Control Tower, ensuring accurate and timely reporting of key metrics.
  • Provide ongoing visualization dashboards and reporting to communicate engineering and business trends clearly to leadership.
  • Support various program tasks and initiatives as directed by engineering leadership.
  • Engage with the SDS Business Operations Lead as needed for LT level asks
