About The Position

As a Portfolio Manager at Associated Bank, you will oversee the underwriting, credit monitoring, and portfolio management of the Mortgage Warehouse business line. Your role is crucial in achieving efficiencies and maintaining the quality of processes and products, while also focusing on client relationship retention and expansion, as well as the growth of total client assets. You will be responsible for managing client relationships, ensuring compliance in portfolio administration and risk management, and monitoring loan repayment activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting or equivalent experience.
• 4-7 years of experience in Mortgage Warehouse and/or Credit Approval.
• 4-7 years of experience handling complex credits.
• 2-4 years of sales experience.

Nice To Haves

• 2-4 years of formal credit training.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite and manage the Mortgage Warehouse business line.
• Monitor credit and portfolio management to ensure quality and efficiency.
• Maintain and build loans, deposits, fee income, and business referrals.
• Analyze financial data to assess loan requests and recommend structures.
• Manage client relationships and ensure compliance with portfolio administration.
• Monitor loan repayment activities and take necessary actions for past due accounts.
• Co-manage the renewal process with Relationship Managers and the credit department.
