Kerry Therapeutics, part of Kerry’s Global Health & Therapeutics Group, is a pharmaceutical-focused business that delivers critical raw materials for developing and producing life-saving therapeutics in Small Molecule, Biologics, Vaccines, and Advanced Therapies & Medicine Products (ATMP). As a Global Therapeutics Portfolio Manager, this role involves leading and owning the small molecule portfolio strategy, setting short and long-term initiatives for the existing product portfolio and innovation roadmap within core vertical markets such as oral solid dose, generics, OTC/consumer, and animal health. The manager will be a key member and leader of the Biopharma “Pod,” collaborating with Marketing and RD&A teams to ensure successful development and commercialization of innovative new products and manage existing offerings. Close collaboration with commercial sales and business development teams is required to understand customer pain points, addressable markets, and competition. The role also acts as a liaison between commercial teams and technology (operations) as a customer advocate, requiring a deep understanding of Kerry technologies and capabilities to navigate a complex matrixed environment and maximize serviceability in new or underpenetrated markets.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a Life Science discipline, Business, or related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in product management, innovation management, marketing, commercial sales or business development in the biopharmaceutical market.
  • Proven track record of leading complex projects, products and portfolios with cross-functional teams.
  • Proven success in product lifecycle management, from concept through commercialization.
  • Strong business acumen and ability to develop compelling business cases and financial models.
  • Strong communication and presentation abilities across all organizational levels.
  • Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making capabilities.
  • Customer-centric mindset with deep understanding of market dynamics.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure successful development and commercialization of innovative new products along with the management of existing product offerings.
  • Collaborate closely with commercial sales and business development teams to establish a deep understanding of customer pain points, addressable markets, competition and other key considerations.
  • Act as a liaison between commercial teams and the technology (operations) as a customer advocate.
  • Navigate a complex matrixed environment to leverage relationships and maximize Kerry’s serviceability in new or underpenetrated markets.
