About The Position
The Portfolio Contract Manager oversees the management of assigned contract categories within IU Health’s supply chain. This role involves developing category strategies, leading strategic sourcing initiatives, negotiating multi-million dollar contracts, and ensuring optimal cost and performance outcomes. The manager collaborates with clinical and operational leaders, suppliers, and group purchasing organizations to optimize vendor relationships, standardize products, and identify new technologies. This position requires independent judgment, strategic thinking, and relationship-building skills to support the overall supply chain and clinical effectiveness strategies.
