About The Position

The successful candidate will be an integral part of the Municipal Fixed Income team and assist in building relationships with dealers and counterparties, ensuring trade integrity, and providing analysis and feedback on portfolio construction. The portfolio manager role will work under the guidance of senior portfolio managers and actively contribute to discussions on market conditions and trading opportunities, and participate in monthly investment positioning across numerous strategies.

Requirements

• Ideally 3+ Years of Municipal Portfolio Management and Trading Experience
• Strong working knowledge of InvestorTools Perform Portfolio Management System
• Numerical and analytic skillset with excellent attention to detail
• Comfort with discussing markets and portfolio strategy
• Keen interest in markets
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to work well under pressure

Responsibilities

• Allocation and execution of trades across client portfolios
• Knowledgeable trading of all aspects of investment grade municipals across the curve
• Maintenance and rebalancing portfolios across strategies
• Working with InvestorTools to increase automation, improve quality of data, and create new trading tools
• Engagement with advisors/clients in relation to markets and portfolio strategy
• Update and maintenance of reports for weekly/bi-weekly strategy meetings
