Requirements

  • Knowledge of billing and collections procedures.
  • 2-3 years' experience working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent phone etiquette.
  • Critical thinking and sound judgment skills.
  • Ability to synthesize information and draw conclusions.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality when necessary.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize work and handle multiple assignments simultaneously.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in a fintech or financial services environment.
  • Familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) software.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service regarding collection issues and account adjustments.
  • Resolve client discrepancies and short payments.
  • Manage a portfolio of own deals and serve as the primary contact for customer concerns post-funding.
  • Handle daily returned payments and communicate with customers to resolve payment issues.
  • Monitor and maintain assigned accounts, including customer calls and reconciliations.
  • Reconcile customer disputes related to outstanding balances.
  • Reduce delinquency for assigned accounts through high-volume customer calls.
  • Communicate effectively with the Sales Department regarding customer accounts.
  • Prepare monthly delinquency notices.
  • Deliver excellent customer service and maintain internal and external customer interface.
