About The Position

The Portfolio Leader at IKEA is responsible for leading and managing change and transformation programs that drive tangible business results. This role involves navigating complex organizational structures, ensuring effective communication, and translating strategies into execution. The Portfolio Leader will work closely with development councils to align initiatives with business objectives and facilitate the scalability of development initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in ownership of change and transformation programs with tangible business results.
  • Evidence of navigating complex organizational structures and environments.
  • Excellent social skills and relationship building, creating impact and influence quickly and sustainably.
  • Business operational experience in translating strategies into execution and delivering results.
  • Leadership experience in critical initiatives/projects in a large, complex global consumer-led company.
  • Cost and budget management experience within multi-dimensional projects or cost centers, demonstrating financial acumen and astuteness.
  • Strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Acts as the main interface and leads common and consistent ways of working with development councils, ensuring effectiveness and alignment with business strategy.
  • Channels business needs into development councils to maintain a balanced portfolio of initiatives supporting business objectives.
  • Takes ownership of critical business topics to establish, anchor, and implement necessary processes or tools.
  • Captures competence development requirements connected to portfolio development.
  • Provides frameworks, tools, and methodologies to support business stakeholders in creating exploration/business cases and portfolio prioritization.
  • Ensures visibility and sharing of Diversity & Inclusion (D&I) initiatives within INGKA and throughout IKEA.
  • Facilitates the scalability and deployment of development initiatives, planning for success throughout the ecosystem.
  • Defines, establishes, and maintains D&I portfolios, ensuring quality throughout all development and innovation initiatives.
