Position Summary Brown Advisory’s San Francisco office is seeking a Portfolio Analyst to support the management and oversight of complex client portfolios across a broad range of asset classes and investment strategies. This role is designed for an analytically-minded professional who is interested in markets, portfolio construction, and investment strategy implementation. The Portfolio Analyst works closely with the local Investment Team to support portfolio management for multi-asset class client portfolios. Responsibilities include investment analysis, portfolio monitoring, liquidity management, and assisting in the implementation of client investment strategies. The role requires strong analytical skills, sound judgment, attention to detail, a collaborative mindset, the ability to connect dots across systems and teams, and a willingness to dive into the details of daily portfolio processes. The analyst partners with Portfolio Managers, Investment Solutions, Client Service, and other internal teams to help ensure portfolios are positioned appropriately relative to client objectives and market conditions.
