About The Position

We're seeking a Portfolio Analyst I to join our Denton Credit Office and play a key role in portfolio risk management, credit analysis, and regulatory compliance. This position is ideal for finance or accounting professional looking to build a strong foundation in credit, risk, and regulatory‑focused portfolio management while working alongside experienced lending and credit leaders. What You'll Do As a Portfolio Analyst I, you will support the safety, soundness, and compliance of the loan portfolio while gaining hands‑on experience with sophisticated credit analysis and risk management practices. Analyze loan portfolio performance, credit quality, and compliance with internal policy and regulatory standards Monitor large loan portfolios exceeding $500MM , identifying emerging risks, covenant compliance issues, delinquencies, collateral coverage gaps, and early warning indicators Assist with portfolio‑level risk analysis and stress testing using Loan Analytics and other approved risk management tools Spread and analyze borrower financial statements, tax returns, and cash flow reports in accordance with established credit standards Perform global cash flow analysis, repayment capacity assessments, and sensitivity analysis to evaluate credit risk Support credit decision‑making by assisting with credit memorandums, renewals, modifications, and annual loan reviews Maintain accurate, audit‑ready portfolio data and generate recurring risk and management reports Partner with Relationship Managers to provide analytical insights and support borrower reviews and presentations Assist with internal and external audits, loan reviews, and regulatory examinations by providing complete and accurate documentation What We're Looking For Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field 0–2 years of experience in lending, credit analysis, audit, or financial analysis Foundational knowledge of financial analysis, accounting principles, and credit fundamentals Familiarity with Federal, State, and Farm Credit Administration (FCA) regulations Strong analytical, mathematical, and problem‑solving skills Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage confidential information responsibly Collaborative mindset with a willingness to learn, grow, and get feedback Comfortable working with moderate supervision in a dynamic, regulated environment Willingness to travel occasionally Why AgTrust At AgTrust Farm Credit , we offer more than a job, we offer a career with purpose. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field
  • 0–2 years of experience in lending, credit analysis, audit, or financial analysis

Responsibilities
