About The Position
The Nutrition Service department is actively seeking top talent, emphasizing the importance of career development for its employees. Completing the entire Career Path can lead to an increase in hourly wage by an additional $3.50, highlighting the department's commitment to professional growth and advancement. The Porter position operates under the direction of the Nutrition Services Manager and Supervisor, focusing primarily on sanitation across various areas, including retail, patient services, and coffee kiosks. This role is crucial for maintaining excellence in cleanliness throughout all service areas. Responsibilities include ware washing in compliance with safety guidelines, managing pot and pan supplies for the Cooks area, and assisting in other areas as needed. Additionally, the Porter is responsible for receiving vendors from the dock, as well as the storage and maintenance of supplies in the storeroom. There may also be a requirement for food transport to satellite locations based on departmental needs. It is important to note that this position may require working at any or all Parkview entities, emphasizing flexibility and adaptability in the role.
