Vinson Hall (VH), a premier Continuing Care Retirement Community located in McLean, VA, is seeking a reliable, team-oriented Porter to support our Environmental Services team. This position plays a vital role in maintaining clean, organized, and safe common areas and facilities for our residents, staff, and visitors. Nice To Haves
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
- Previous experience in groundskeeping, maintenance, or custodial work is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of landscaping tools, cleaning equipment, and safety procedures.
Responsibilities
- Keep outdoor areas clean and tidy.
- Pick up trash and empty outdoor bins.
- Sweep sidewalks, walkways, and parking areas.
- Help with basic landscaping like mowing, trimming, and watering plants.
- Report any maintenance or safety issues.
- Assist with moving items or setting up for events when needed.
- Follow safety rules and use cleaning tools properly.
