About The Position

Position Summary Responsible for the daily upkeep, cleaning, and organization of all kitchen and service support areas. Porters play a vital role in maintaining sanitation standards and supporting the smooth operation of the culinary and service teams.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain proper uniform and hygiene standards in accordance with Club policy.
  • Ensure dish machines are functioning properly, checking temperature and cycle logs daily.
  • Handle all china, glass, and silver with care; properly sort and store items by outlet.
  • Maintain all warewashing and maintenance areas in a clean, organized, and safe condition.
  • Ensure all garbage and recycling in the BOH areas are constantly cleaned and emptied.
  • Maintain proper storage and handling of the loading dock, outside trash bins and dumpsters.
  • Ensure the kitchen is regularly swept and mopped at all times.
  • Assist with polishing of the copper pots and pans per the chef teams requests.
  • Inventory and organize all cleaning materials and supplies daily.
  • Communicate restock needs promptly and assist with ordering through the Purchasing Manager.
  • Work collaboratively with culinary and service staff to support operational needs.
  • Treat all equipment and facilities with respect and attention to detail.
  • Maintain a professional and courteous attitude at all times.
  • Duties are not limited to the above and may include additional assignments as directed by leadership
