About The Position

Oasis Rehabilitation and Nursing has Per diem openings for Housekeepers/Porters. The role involves performing day-to-day housekeeping activities in accordance with State, Federal, Health and Company standards, under the instruction of the Director of Housekeeping Services, to ensure the facility is maintained in a safe manner.

Requirements

• Managing time effectively and having good organizational skills.
• Experienced or on the job training.

Responsibilities

• Perform the day-to-day activities of the housekeeping department in accordance with State, Federal, Health and Company standards.
• Must follow instructions by the Director of Housekeeping Services, to ensure that the facility is maintained in a safe manner.
• Clean/polish furnishings, fixtures, ledges, room heating/cooling units, in restrooms, recreational areas, etc., daily as instructed.
• Discard waste/trash in proper containers and reline trash receptacles with a plastic liner.
• Ensure that work/cleaning schedules are followed as closely as possible
