About The Position

The Porter is responsible for cleaning an assigned area of the casino which could include windows, dusting furniture, picking up paper and trash from floor throughout shift, polishing of slot machines, total cleaning of public and employee rest rooms, cleaning out ash trays, dumping trash cans, vacuuming, sweeping or polishing floors. Responsible for returning cleaning chemicals and any equipment used to storage areas at the end of shift. Responsible for completing tasks using safe work procedures and following all safety rules and regulations. Responsible for promoting professional communication within the department and Enterprise and reports any issues to the Supervisor. Will be required to assist in other departments when necessary or for training purposes. Responsible for any other duties as assigned by Supervisor, Manager, or Senior Management. Maintaining Title 31 Compliance accurately. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Must be age 21 or older.
Must qualify for a Tribal Non-Gaming license.
Must be able to communicate in the primary language of the workplace.
Requires stamina for constant movement of walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, reaching, repetitive motions, pushing heavy cleaning equipment, be able to work with a variety of cleaning chemicals
Must have the ability to lift 40 pounds frequently.
Must possess the hand and finger dexterity for using tools and equipment.
Normal vision (or corrected to normal) including color acuity and depth perception and hearing.
