About The Position

The Multi-Site Residential Porter supports the day-to-day cleanliness, appearance, and curb appeal of multiple residential communities. This role is responsible for maintaining common areas, assisting with trash management, supporting move-in/move-out preparation, and responding to routine upkeep needs across assigned properties. The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, self-motivated, and comfortable traveling between multiple sites while working independently and as part of a team.

Requirements

  • Prior experience as a porter, groundskeeper, janitorial, or facilities support role preferred
  • Ability to work independently and manage time across multiple locations
  • Reliable transportation and ability to travel between properties
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks such as bending, walking, and standing for extended periods
  • Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining clean, welcoming communities
  • Dependable, punctual, and professional in appearance and communication

Responsibilities

  • Maintain cleanliness of common areas including hallways, stairwells, breezeways, lobbies, laundry rooms, clubhouses, and fitness centers
  • Pick up litter and debris throughout the property grounds, parking areas, and walkways
  • Empty trash receptacles in common areas and dog-waste stations as needed
  • Monitor overall property appearance and report maintenance concerns or safety hazards promptly
  • Support daily and scheduled trash collection and compactor upkeep
  • Assist with bulk-item removal and proper disposal in accordance with property guidelines
  • Help ensure trash and recycling areas remain clean, organized, and compliant
  • Assist with move-in and move-out preparations, including basic cleaning and light touch-ups
  • Support unit turns by removing debris, sweeping patios/balconies, and preparing units for maintenance or vendor access
  • Travel between assigned properties based on daily or weekly schedules
  • Adjust priorities based on property needs, occupancy changes, and special projects
  • Communicate effectively with property managers and maintenance teams across sites
  • Follow company safety standards and proper use of cleaning products and equipment
  • Use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required
  • Maintain a safe working environment for residents, guests, and coworkers
