About The Position

The Porter position involves maintaining cleanliness and order across various common areas and grounds. Key responsibilities include cleaning surfaces such as dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and glass cleaning in areas like Information Centers, Fitness Centers, kitchens, and restrooms. The role also requires emptying garbage cans from all amenity spaces, including dog waste stations, and ensuring light fixtures are clean and bulbs are replaced. The Porter is expected to patrol the grounds for trash and debris, adhering to a “Clean as You Go” principle, and to interact with residents in a friendly and welcoming manner. Maintaining a clean and tidy uniform and personal appearance is also a requirement.

Responsibilities

• Clean all surfaces in common areas (e.g. Information Centers, Fitness Center, kitchens, restrooms) to include dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and glass cleaning
• Empty garbage cans from all amenity spaces including restrooms and dog waste stations
• Clean and maintain light fixtures and replacement bulbs
• Patrol grounds for trash and debris along roads, maintaining a “Clean as You Go” mindset
• Greet residents when in contact with a warm smile, and genuine greeting
• Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and tidy
