About The Position

Are you a dynamic and experienced property management professional looking for an opportunity to make a meaningful impact? Related Affordable is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Part-Time Porter to support our affordable housing community at Crossroads of Edina in Edina, MN.

Do you have experience operating small machinery – including power and hand tools? Are you experienced working with cleaning chemicals? ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Perform upkeep and janitorial duties so that your property is always in great condition, demonstrating pride in your building and grounds.
Learn new skills and work closely with the maintenance team on small repairs and preventative activities.
Engage in minor maintenance work in coordination with building maintenance team.
Assist in preparation of vacant units with maintenance team.
Provide excellent customer service to residents while performing job duties.
Inspect property and equipment regularly to ensure proper functionality.
Perform snow removal and/or landscaping as needed.
Maintain building supplies and inventory in proper condition.
Communicate with management to address safety concerns as needed.
Support site and office operations as assigned by manager

Anticipated Salary Range:
$18.00-$19.00 / hour
plus an annual bonus
This range is provided as a general guideline and reflects what we reasonably expect to pay for this role at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary depending on a variety of factors, including the candidate’s qualifications, geographical location, and the specific responsibilities of the role. In addition to salary, this position may be eligible for performance bonuses and a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
Final compensation offers will be determined following a thorough assessment of the candidate’s background and the requirements of the position.

Requirements

• You have at least 1 year experience as a building porter, cleaner, or groundskeeper
• You’re able to work our emergency on-call rotation as needed and can lift up to 50 lbs and stand for an 8-hour shift.
