About The Position

As a Porter at RWB Thrift, you are the air-traffic controller of the backroom, anticipating the needs of the production support staff ahead of time, ensuring supplies are available and in the correct place. You play a vital role in maintaining a safe work environment by prioritizing cleanliness, organization, and flow of the production floor. You are aware of the walkways and removing hazards for the production floor team. Your attention to detail and fast-paced work execution contribute to a positive working experience for our production employees and help streamline overall production. The role includes tasks such as Trailer Loader/Unloader (safely and efficiently loading/unloading items, sorting, organizing, documenting arrivals, moving merchandise), Trash Compactor Operator (managing waste, operating and maintaining compactor, ensuring proper disposal), and Organizer (overseeing supply management, receiving, organizing, and replenishing supplies like hangers, sensors, racks, carts, and bins).

Responsibilities

• Transport items between departments and assist with supply movement as needed
• Maintain inventory of supplies and notify management when supplies need replenishment
• Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe and clean environment for customers and staff
• Provide excellent customer service by anticipating the needs of the production staff so they can accelerate their workflow
