Our Porters help ensure safe operation in the kitchen, and have the opportunity to work closely with all of the kitchen staff.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent is required
Must be at least 18 years of age
Excellent verbal communication and problem-solving skills
Ability to work in a fast paced, team-oriented environment
Ability to stand on feet for long periods of time
Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds

Nice To Haves

Previous dishwashing experience preferred

Responsibilities

Receive food inventory and place in dry storage, walk in coolers, and/or freezers; organize storage areas
Job Shadow Line Cooks
Sort and rinse dirty dishes, glasses, pots, pans, tableware and other cooking utensils and put in dishwasher
Sort and stack clean dishes
Carry clean dishes to cook's line and put away all other clean dishes when dry
Take out all trash from trash receptacles
Must keep a clean, stocked, and tidy workspace
Flexible with job responsibilities and able to multi-task
Other responsibilities as directed by the Executive Chef and/or Sous Chef
