About The Position

Reliant Asset Management Solutions, a growing property management company based in the Inland Empire, is currently recruiting for a full-time, hourly non-exempt Porter. THE ORGANIZATION Reliant Asset Management Solutions is a non-profit affiliate of the Housing Authority of the County of San Bernardino formed to further the mission of operating and sustaining a variety of affordable housing options throughout the Inland Empire. Services offered include providing full-service property management, physical inspections and consulting services related to affordable housing units and other related services. POSITION SUMMARY Under the direction of the Maintenance Supervisor, performs a variety of services for the overall upkeep of the exterior/ interior image within assigned residential communities. Includes tasks involving trash pick-up, graffiti clean-up, general housekeeping, and basic labor assistance within units as requested.

Requirements

  • Must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
  • Good communication skills and ability to follow direction.
  • Basic knowledge of computer with ability to use e-mail applications and complete on-line timecard.
  • Ability to read and write in English
  • Ability to work with limited supervision.
  • Valid CA Driver’s license
  • Ability to provide own transportation with acceptable driving record and auto insurance limits.

  • Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Daily picks up trash around the complexes, cleans up dumpster areas and laundry rooms, cleans up graffiti and hauls trash away.
  • Reports to the Maintenance Technician any large trash objects needing removal, and any liability related issues (such as trip/tree hazards, sharp objects etc.) around the property or concerning residents and their guests.
  • Maintains curb appeal of assigned communities.
  • Ensures all common areas (laundry, mail, leasing office community/recreation rooms and park/pool areas) are always kept presentable.
  • Provides constant observation of community and initiates action to correct any unsafe conditions and defers to maintenance.
  • Develops and maintains good resident relations and encourages residents to work together to beautify our communities.
  • Strips, wax, buff floors.
  • Cleans windows, stoves, shower/tubs, and countertops.
  • Maintains the cleanliness of vacant units.
  • Ensure all units are presentable and move in ready.
  • Always ensures safety compliance when performing duties.
  • Maintains a clean and safe working area including wearing of all required personal protective equipment (PPE)
  • Vacuum, sweep, mop, dust, and dump trash from leasing offices.
  • Coordinates daily with trash services and Maintenance Supervisor when performing routine cleaning assignments in common areas.
  • Ensure that all equipment used is always clean and in working condition.
  • Coordinates with the Area Manager daily to keep the apprised of any concerns or problems within the community.
  • Assists Maintenance Technician as requested on basic tasks.
  • Performs other related projects as assigned.
