Porter - Gardens at Town Center (Part-time)
About The Position
This part-time Porter position, working 24 hours a week, involves performing all necessary maintenance and cleaning tasks for the community's physical assets. This includes grounds, parking lots, apartments, office, laundry facilities, community restrooms, and common areas, with cleaning duties such as vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, dusting, glass cleaning, and snow removal. The role also entails implementing a preventative maintenance schedule, reporting building damage and unusual conditions to the Community Leader, monitoring site lighting, maintaining records, removing trash, and managing janitorial/sanitation supply levels.
Requirements
- High school diploma required.
- Ability to work well with others

Responsibilities
- Perform all necessary maintenance and cleaning on all grounds, parking lots, apartments, office, laundry facilities, community restrooms and common areas. Cleaning to include but not limited to vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, dusting, glass cleaning and snow removal.
- Implement the Preventative Maintenance Schedule.
- Report building damage and vandalism, unusual circumstances and conditions, and other related incidents in writing to the Community Leader
- Monitor site lighting and report problems
- Maintain records as required
- Remove trash as required
- Maintain adequate stock levels of janitorial/sanitation supply
