About The Position

This second-shift position operates independently with minimal direct supervision and is responsible for maintaining a clean, sanitary, and food-safe facility in accordance with SQF, GMP, and company standards. Ensures all warehouse and production areas are audit-ready and compliant prior to the start of daily production.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• Must be able to safely operate a scissor lift and pallet jack compliant with OSHA training.
• Must be able to safely operate a cardboard bailer and powered floor scrubber.
• Proficient use of general cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Must be able to safely lift 50lbs.
• Must be able to safely both stand and walk on concrete for 8-hour shifts.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently on third shift with minimal supervision.
• Ability to follow a written master cleaning schedule.
• Strong sense of accountability and reliability.

Nice To Haves

• Minimum of two years janitorial or institutional housekeeping experience.
• Familiar with GMP’s, food safety procedures and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all duties are performed in accordance with food safety, quality assurance, and GMP policies and procedures.
• Sweep, mop, and scrub floors.
• Dust and sweep pallet locations.
• Remove dust and debris from elevated locations with the use of a scissor lift.
• Remove debris and ensure assigned areas are clean and orderly inside and outside of the facility.
• Perform other duties as directed.
