And we do it all with heart, each and every day. Position Summary: A Brief Overview: Conducts facility maintenance duties and customer interface. Assists with equipment service and general housekeeping tasks to ensure buildings and property are in a clean and orderly condition. What you will do: Performs routine custodial duties to include sweeping and mopping floors, either by hand or using a powered scrubber. Maintains building free from indoor pests. Empties trash receptacles disposes trash into compactors and/or dumpsters. Maintains outer premises by cleaning entrances and outside areas. Dusting and disinfecting all surfaces. Washing windows. Identify and perform minor repairs. Painting, as needed. Maintains inventory of cleaning agents and equipment. Reports needs and concerns to appropriate staff. Maintains work area in a safe, clean, and orderly condition. Accompanies third party vendors as needed while on site. Perform other duties as requested by the department lead/supervisor and or manager.

Requirements

  • Ability to walk, stand, pull, climb, bend, reach, and stoop for an extended period of time.
  • Must be able to lifting frequently (20-45 lbs.) and an occasional heavy lifting requirement (up to 75 lbs.).
  • Ability to exercise sound judgement and work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Knowledge of different cleaning products and tools.
  • Good written & verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate clearly and concisely and professionally (courteous and cordial).
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule or overtime as required, to include shift rotation.
  • Proven ability to be a collaborator who is comfortable working in a team-based environment.
  • Ability to work with different levels of colleagues with focus on customer service.
  • Ability to act competently in emergencies.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor/manager/senior leadership.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
