About The Position

Rocking Horse Ranch Resort, an award-winning family friendly resort located in Highland, NY, is seeking talented Porters to deliver excellence in service to our guests and exceed cleanliness and sanitation standards. You will be responsible for all resort common areas and service areas.

Requirements

1+ year(s) janitorial experience
Ability to work on your feet throughout the day
Impeccable attention to detailed cleanliness and safety
Strong work ethic, adept at multitasking, and a true team player
Ability to lift or move 50 lbs
A flexible schedule with weekend and holiday availability is required.

Responsibilities

Maintain cleanliness of guest and service areas including loading dock, janitorial closets, and storage areas
Execute daily opening and closing procedures of common areas and in-depth cleaning tasks for designated areas
Maintain cleaning equipment in good working order and communicate with relative departments regarding repair
Communicate with other departments to complete necessary guest housekeeping requests
Assist other departments to provide overall positive guest experience
Follow all established safety procedures when using cleaning products and cleaning equipment
