About The Position

IMPORTANT! Please read the information before continuing. Thank you for your interest in TAO Beach Dayclub, Marquee Dayclub, Liquid Pool Lounge, Palm Tree Beach Club, and A New Daylife Experience by Tao Group Hospitality at Caesars Palace. Once you have applied online, you will receive a text message to RSVP for an interview. RSVPs are preferred but not required. Interviews for Porters will be held on January 7th, 8th, & 9th at Hakkasan Nightclub, located inside the MGM Grand: 3799 S Las Vegas Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89109. Upon arrival to the audition, candidates will select which venue(s) they are interested in applying for. Porters will maintain the cleanliness of the branded location at all times.

Requirements

Tao Group Hospitality in-branded location porter training
Basic understanding and ability to converse in English
Experience in a high-volume restaurant/nightclub/lounge, preferred
21+ years of age (nightlife/daylife requirements)
Ability to read, write, and verbally communicate
Must have good positive energy throughout the day
Must be able to print legibly for Team Members, management, and guests to read
Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
Must be able to move quickly
Must be able to push and lift up to 75 lbs. with or without assistance
Work in an environment that is subject to varying levels of noise, crowds, and smoke, the severity of which depends upon the guest volume
May work extended hours irregular shifts, evening and/or weekend shifts, and holiday work may be required
Exposure to cleaning materials

Office, Casino, Nightclub, Bar, Lounge, and/or Restaurant working environment
Maintain a professional, neat, and well-groomed appearance adhering to Company standards

Responsibilities

Maintaining the cleanliness of the branded location at all times.
Sweeping all debris from the floor and ensuring the floor is dry and free of spills.
Collecting all soiled cups and placed in the back of the house to be washed.
Ensuring all debris and trash (bottles, napkins, etc.) are collected and disposed of appropriately, and any biohazard spills are cleared and cleaned in a timely manner while observing health and branded location guidelines.
Anticipate and accommodate all team members and guests needs.
Provide help, training, and support to all fellow team members.
Possess general knowledge of all food/beverage menus and general information about the branded location.
Possess general knowledge of all retail merchandise (where applicable).
Complies with Department of Health standards.
Complies with all Tao Group Hospitality safety codes and standards.
Ensures the maintenance, general cleanliness, and orderliness of the branded location.
Reports all breakage, and damage of equipment or furniture immediately to management.
Proper removal and storage of garbage, dirty service ware, and linens.
Ensures all walkways are swept, mopped, and clear of debris.
Proper use of cleaning chemicals, soaps, and supplies is essential.
Properly set up branded location’s sanitation areas, perform side-work and other opening/closing procedures as directed by management, including: Stocks stations with prescribed supplies Performs opening side-work as prescribed Performs closing side-work as prescribed
Attends and participates in daily pre-service meetings.
Participates in any training sessions or departmental meetings.
Learn by listening, observing other team members, and sharing knowledge while leading by example.
Portrays a positive and professional attitude.
Demonstrates knowledge of Tao Group Hospitality, its partners, and supporting hotel environments.
Works as part of a team and provides help and support to all fellow team members.
Assist and/ or complete additional tasks as assigned.
