About The Position
Schochet is currently seeking a Part Time Porter at Hampton Court in Northampton, MA. Hampton Court in Northampton is a 77- unit family apartment community with 8 commercial spaces. Duties and Responsibilities: Duties include but not limited to; Complete the final cleaning of an apartment during the unit turn-over process. After property maintenance staff completes renovations on an apartment, the janitorial staff goes into the unit and prepares the unit for the new resident. Trash room maintenance and property trash removal. Duties in this area may include: cleaning of trash rooms; cleaning of trash shoots; preparing trash containers for pick-up by trash company; picking up trash around exterior of property and removing trash from hallways and other parts of the building where items may have been left. Cleaning hallways( Sweeping mopping, vacuuming, windows, etc) Delivery notices to each unit as requested by property management. Light maintenance Cleaning the leaves off the drain and exterior stairs. Assist maintenance and/or property management staff by providing outside vendors with access to apartment units. Walk the property daily collecting trash and replacing burned out light bulbs as needed. Hours are Monday-Friday; 8am-12pm with rotating on-call. Must live within 30 minutes of Northampton for rotating on-call and have a valid driver’s license and own transportation. $150 premium paid for all week’s that you are on-call, additionally you are paid a time and a half rate for any emergency calls plus travel time.
