About The Position

The Janitor/Porter helps ensure complete customer satisfaction by moving vehicles in and around the service area/lot, maintaining the cleanliness of vehicles and the service area, delivering vehicles to customers after service is complete, and transporting customers to/from their home when needed. We are looking for a reliable person to maintain a clean and safe work environment - responsible for cleaning and sanitizing the customer areas, bathrooms, and service shop. This position is a great entry level job where you can learn about the automotive industry, gain mechanical skills, and move to other departments. Requirements

Valid driver's license and clean driving record

Nice To Haves

Previous janitorial and/or maintenance experience a plus

Responsibilities

Keep entire department in clean and orderly condition
Perform any combination of the following duties: sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and vacuuming hallways, stairs, and office spaces
Use machinery to clean showroom floor, dust entire facility, and maintain multiple bathrooms and kitchen
Empty trash and garbage containers
Maintain minor and routine painting, electrical and other maintenance activities using hand tools
Move and park vehicles
Drive the shuttle van
Work schedule will be assigned from Monday to Saturday (7am-6pm) by Service Manager
Other duties as assigned
