About The Position

Timber Ridge Apartments is now hiring for a Porter/ Make Ready Maintenance. Duties: Prepare vacant apartments for market ready status through turn-over repairs and improvements Maintain snow removal, cleaning and maintenance of grounds, including common areas Provide residents with outstanding customer service At least 12 months of onsite experience Possess valid Identification

Responsibilities

• Clean and remove debris from walkways, parking lots, and outdoor areas.
• Empty trash cans regularly.
• Maintain tools and equipment; ensure safe and proper use.
• Assist with snow and ice removal (if applicable).
• Support maintenance staff with light tasks as needed.
• Inspect vacated units and create a punch list of needed repairs.
• Paint walls, patch holes, and touch up surfaces.
• Replace or repair appliances, light fixtures, plumbing fixtures, and hardware as needed.
• Test and ensure all systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical) are functioning.
• Install blinds, doors, smoke detectors, and other fixtures.
• Communicate with property management and maintenance staff about unit status and timelines.
• Maintain inventory of supplies and request materials as needed.
• Ensure units meet cleanliness and safety standards before move-in.
