About The Position

Flik Hospitality Group is hiring immediately for full time PORTER positions at the United Airlines - United C74 Lounge in Newark, New Jersey. The schedule is full time with varying days from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm, and weekends are required. The position involves maintaining cleanliness and sanitation of the front of the house, including all tables, counters, floors, windows, and beverage stations. The role includes essential duties such as bussing tables, washing dishes, and ensuring compliance with safety and sanitation standards.

Requirements

• Six months of prior warehouse, receiving, or stocking experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintains cleanliness and sanitation of the front of the house, including all tables, counters, floors, windows, and beverage stations.
• Ensures tables are bussed, cleared, and cleaned during peak service times.
• Follows safety procedures when transporting dishes and utensils from the front of the house to the kitchen area.
• Washes dishes, glasses, and pots; cleans cooking stations and equipment.
• Scrapes and rinses food from dishes and washes them by hand or places them in racks or on conveyor to dishwashing machine.
• Keeps display equipment clean and free of debris during meal service.
• Helps receive heavy deliveries from dock and transports them to assigned storage areas.
• Ensures proper presentation, portion control, and maintenance of serving temperatures.
• Abides by all Company policies and procedures regarding safety and sanitation.
