About The Position
Responsible for the cleaning of all ancillary and public areas of the hospital.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- One (1) year general cleaning experience.
- Floor care or cleaning in a specialized area. Knowledge in Floor Stripping and Refinishing, Carpet Extracting, Tile and Grout cleaning. Knowledge in operating Cleaning Equipment that include but not limited to, Ride on-Walk behind Auto Scrubber, Ride on-Walk behind Burnisher, Auto Scrubber/Side by Side, Carpet Extractor. Knowledge in proper Chemical Handling, SDS Competencies.
- Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide service appropriate to the age of the patients served on the assigned unit/department.
