What were looking for: We are seeking a highly motivated team member to work the hybrid Porter and Concierge shift . The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with excellent customer service skills, passion for delivering a high-quality product, and creating a positive team member and resident experience. While working as a concierge the individual will serve as the primary point for residents and should be passionate about enhancing the resident experience and local community. This position is highly visible and requires a warm demeanor, collaborative spirit, and impeccable follow-through. We are highly entrepreneurial and look to you to be flexible, yet results driven. We have tight deadlines and rely on you to meet them. While we work hard, its important we take time to have fun and collaborate. Culture fuels us here at Domain, thats why we host Company volunteer days, community engagement and volunteer opportunities, and team building events such as Company outings. What youll be doing as a Porter: Ensure our property looks exceptional at all times! We take pride in the cleanliness of our properties both inside and out; our Porters play a key role to ensure our property is free of trash and that trash pickup is timely. The safety of our team members and residents is our greatest concern. To ensure our team and community stay safe, its imperative our porters follow our safety programs and policies. Our Porters frequently walk the property not only to ensure its tidy & safe but to minimize our liabilities. We rely on our porters to report any concerns and to address issues in a timely fashion. We believe communication leads to community. Our Porters are an invaluable asset in communicating with the maintenance team on items that need to be addressed. They also communicate directly with our residents on various items such as: concerns, property events, and delivering notices to residents. Operational needs consistently change, we rely on our porters to jump in to assist as needed to ensure our property operates in an efficient manner. Our Porters juggle many resident services and facility requests; time management and prioritizing are key to managing their day. As our residents move out, we create new homes for those joining our community. Our porters complete all unit-turns for vacated apartments to guarantee a clean and well-maintained exceptional home to our new residents. Community is at the core of who we are here at Domain. To create an inclusive, connected community we often host resident events. Our Porters help their team set up and take down events and assist on other tasks as needed. Be proactive about solving problems, even if its outside of your area and be ready to take on additional initiates and responsibilities as they emerge. Seek out opportunities to be a leader and do everything you can to help the company achieve its larger objectives. What youll be doing as Concierge: Monitor entrances, exits, and all activity in front lobby; maintain visitor and vendor logs. Manage package room Log, organize, and distribute packages. Document and communicate incidents/accidents at the property to the leadership team. Be readily available to resolve any problems or dissatisfaction of the residents, within company policy. Take maintenance requests, as needed. Hand out team member business cards and gather information for follow up (after office hours only). Provide access to the community for residents guests, deliveries, and other special requests from management and/or residents with prior written approval. Provide firsthand knowledge of the local area and our community. Make recommendations about activities, local businesses, and services to ensure residents and guests have a positive experience that meets their needs. Accommodate residents with lifestyle services that tailor to their needs like grocery, flower and furniture deliveries, utility assistance, transportation services, dinner reservations, dry cleaning, house cleaning, car washing, etc. Assist in planning, coordinating, and promoting resident social events. Be proactive about solving problems, even if its outside of your area, and be ready to take on additional initiates and responsibilities as they emerge. Seek out opportunities to be a leader and do everything you can to help the company achieve its larger objectives.
