About The Position

The Porter supports daily club operations by ensuring all spaces are clean, organized, and event ready. This role plays a key role in executing events and maintaining Oakwood Country Club’s high standards of presentation, service, and hospitality.

Requirements

• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Positive attitude and willingness to support all departments
• Must be able to pass a drug test prior to beginning work at the club.

Responsibilities

• Assist with setup and breakdown of all club events, including tables, chairs, linens, and equipment
• Execute room flips efficiently based on event timelines and floorplans
• Support daily operational setup across dining, event, and recreational spaces
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of indoor and outdoor club areas
• Monitor and restock event and operational supplies as needed
• Ensure all spaces meet club standards for safety and presentation
• Assist events team during functions with real-time needs and adjustments
• Work closely with food & beverage, events, and operations teams to ensure seamless execution
• Provide general support during high-volume events and peak service times
