About The Position
The Domain Companies is a national real estate development and investment firm dedicated to making a positive and lasting impact on the communities in which we build. We are currently seeking a highly motivated Porter to join our team in Brooklyn, NY. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with excellent customer service skills and a passion for delivering high-quality service. As a Porter, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our properties are clean, safe, and welcoming for residents and visitors alike. You will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the property, ensuring timely trash pickup, and following safety protocols to protect both team members and residents. In this role, you will frequently walk the property to ensure it is tidy and safe, reporting any concerns to the maintenance team and addressing issues promptly. Communication is key, as you will interact directly with residents regarding their concerns, property events, and notices. You will also assist with unit-turns for vacated apartments, ensuring that new residents move into clean and well-maintained homes. Our Porters are expected to be proactive problem solvers, ready to take on additional responsibilities as they arise. At Domain, we value community and often host resident events, where Porters will assist in setup and takedown. We are looking for someone who can manage their time effectively, prioritize tasks, and contribute to a positive team environment.
