About The Position

This is a dual role position that involves both driving and warehouse work, specifically as a CDL Driver and Warehouse Worker/Forklift Operator. The job requires operating a flatbed truck and a propane forklift, loading and unloading storage containers, and transporting them to specified destinations. Training will be provided for operating the necessary equipment. The position also includes participation in ongoing education through U-Haul University.

Requirements

• Clean motor vehicle driving record
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Department of Transportation certification
• Commercial driver’s license (CDL)

Responsibilities

• Operate a flatbed truck (training provided)
• Operate an 8000-lb propane forklift or a truck-mounted forklift (training provided)
• Load and unload storage containers for delivery
• Transport storage containers to and from specified destinations, e.g., customers’ homes and businesses – local routes only
• Participate in ongoing continuous U-Haul education through U-Haul University
