Hexagon's Manufacturing Intelligence division is seeking a Portable Metrology Testing and Development Intern for our Williamsburg location. Our strength comes from our global footprint and enormous portfolio of advanced industrial sensors, measurement technologies, factory automation, simulation, and analytics tools. The Portable Metrology Testing and Development Intern will have a dynamic role assisting in software support, testing, documentation and development of a 3D measurement software. The successful candidate should be a self-starter with an interest in metrology. He/she will have the opportunity to use a high end 3D measurement software package and its associated measurement devices, learn how the software is developed and tested, and explore how customer feedback plays a role in future software development. The position will require problem solving, extrapolating to real-world applications, independent research and clear written documentation of findings. The ultimate goal will be to assist in supporting our customers and aiding our development team.
