About The Position

Inner Parish Security Corporation (IPSC) is recruiting professional Port Security Officers with excellent customer service and security skills to join our highly regarded team. We have immediate job openings and can assist you in the LA Security Guard Licensing and Training process. Positions available include Foot Patrol and Driving Patrol. Pay Rate: $16.00/hr, paid weekly! Current TWIC card required. For driving positions, candidates must be at least 25 years of age, have a valid Driver's License, and have a clean Driving Record. Full-time and part-time positions available. Retirees and Veterans are welcome. Prior law enforcement, military and/or 1 year of security experience is a plus, however training will be provided to the right candidate.

Requirements

• Current TWIC card required
• Excellent customer service and conflict resolution skills
• Sound communication skills
• Professional presentation
• Ability to work as a team member and solo
• Reliable transport
• Active cellphone
• Ability to pass a drug screen

Nice To Haves

• Prior law enforcement experience
• Military experience
• 1 year of security experience

Responsibilities

• Performing both regular and random patrols of multiple premises
• Reporting any security-related incidents, hazards or unusual occurrences
• When necessary, performing control procedures
• Operating emergency equipment
• Documenting nightly operations and filing weekly reports
• Investigating breaches of property
