About The Position
The Port Captain is a full-time, salaried exempt position responsible for overseeing vessel operations and ensuring compliance with regulations. This role acts as a liaison between vessel management and shore-based personnel, focusing on training, supervising, and evaluating vessel managers and their teams. The Port Captain will also monitor waterway conditions, maintain relationships with regulatory agencies, and develop policies to enhance operational safety and efficiency.
