About The Position

We are seeking proactive and eager Technician Assistants and Junior Technicians for the upcoming 2026 pool season starting in late February or early March. These roles will be in the field servicing residential and commercial swimming pools with responsibilities and compensation based on experience. We are hoping to find candidates to grow from these entry -level positions to become experienced technicians with training and career development programs sponsored by the company. This hands -on role is ideal for someone who enjoys working outside and wants to learn a new industry or someone with previous experience in pool maintenance looking to join a career track.

Requirements

  • Technician Assistant: No experience required
  • Junior Technician: 1 -3 years of pool industry experience including pool maintenance
  • Handle individual cleanings and small service calls with minimal supervision
  • Must hold a valid driver’s license and maintain a clean driving record
  • Must be available to work during the full operating season (March 1–November 30)
  • Must be able to work Monday–Friday, 7:30 a.m.–4:00 p.m., with flexibility for overtime or weekend hours as needed
  • Have dependable transportation to work
  • Ability to frequently pull, push, lift equipment and tools in excess of 60 pounds in all weather conditions
  • Strong attention to detail and a team -first attitude
  • Willingness to learn technical skills and follow instructions
  • Dependable and punctual, with a positive and professional demeanor

Responsibilities

  • Assist with water testing and treatment under the direction of senior technicians
  • Perform routine cleaning tasks, including skimming, vacuuming, brushing, and emptying baskets
  • Backwash and clean filters, remove debris, and maintain overall pool cleanliness
  • Support basic equipment maintenance and repairs (e.g., replacing skimmer baskets, pump lids, or hoses)
  • Maintain organized and clean company vehicles, tools, and job sites
  • Follow all safety procedures and company policies while working outdoors in various weather conditions
  • Communicate professionally and courteously with homeowners and property managers
  • Assist with renovation and construction projects as needed
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Manager
  • Independently perform routine pool maintenance, including water testing, chemical balance (phosphates, calcium hardness, cyanuric acid), and general cleaning
  • Diagnose and resolve basic water chemistry and equipment issues, such as green pool cleanups, pump air leaks, and low -pressure problems
  • Inspect and service pool systems, including pumps, filters, and heaters; replace filters and media as needed
  • Conduct above -ground PVC pipe repairs (Schedule 40/80) and assist with renovation or construction tasks such as painting, caulking, and liner patching
